Chardham yatra in 2025 will start from 30th April, which is officially annonced by the  Chardham yatra authourity.

CHARDHAM YATRA TEMPLE OPENING DATES:

  • Yamunotri Temple : 30th April 2025
  • Gangotri Temple : 30th April 2025
  • Kedarnath Temple : 2nd May 2025
  • Badrinath Temple : 4rth May 2025

HOW TO DO CHARDHAM YATRA REGISTRATION 2025

Here’s a detailed, step-by-step guide for registering for the Char Dham Yatra (Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath) in 2025, whether you’re doing it online, via app, WhatsApp, or offline centers. Bookmark or save this for your trip planning!

You get 4 options to do your chardham yatra registration, which are as follow;


 Option 1. Online Registration (Most Recommended)

This is the official and easiest way.

Step 1: Visit the Official Website

Go to the official portal — this is managed by the Uttarakhand Government.

Step 2: Create Your Account

Click on “Register” (top-right corner).

🔹 Fill the following details:

  • Full Name

  • Mobile Number

  • Email ID

  • Choose a password

  • Select the type of tour:

    • Individual

    • Family

    • Tour Group

  • Enter the OTP received on your mobile number.

Once verified, your account will be created.


Step 3: Create a Tour Itinerary

Click on “Create/Manage Tour Info” > “Add New Tour”

🔹 Fill:

  • Tour Type (Family/Group/Individual)

  • Tour Name (anything you like)

  • Start and End Date

  • Number of People

  • Destinations: Select the temples you’re visiting (Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, Badrinath)

  • Specific darshan dates for each Dham


Step 4: Add Pilgrim Details

You need to enter details of each pilgrim:

  • Full Name

  • Gender

  • Date of Birth

  • ID Proof Type & Number

  • Address

  • Mobile Number (if different)

  • Upload a recent passport-size photo

🔸 Repeat this for every person in the group.


Step 5: Upload ID Proof

For each pilgrim, upload a valid government-issued ID (PDF or JPEG format):

  • Aadhaar Card (preferred)

  • Voter ID

  • Passport

  • Driving License


✅ Step 6: Review & Submit

Once all details are added:

  • Check the entire tour plan

  • Review pilgrim details

  • Click “Submit”

You will receive:

  • A Registration Number (URN)

  • A QR Code

  • Downloadable registration slip (PDF)

You MUST carry a printout or digital copy of this during the Yatra.


Option 2. Registration via Mobile App

Step 1: Download the App

Search and install:
Tourist Care Uttarakhand App from Play Store or App Store.

Step 2: Sign Up & Register

Same steps as online:

  • Sign up with mobile & email

  • Create tour

  • Add pilgrims

  • Upload photo & ID

  • Get QR code

The app is good for:

  • Real-time updates

  • Alerts on weather, route, or temple status


Option 3. WhatsApp Registration

 

Step 1: Send “Yatra” to

Step 2: Follow the Link

You’ll receive an automated reply with a link to the registration portal.
From there, follow the same steps as the website.


Option 4. Offline/Biometric Registration (If Not Done Online)

You can register at biometric counters in Uttarakhand. Useful if:

  • You don’t have access to internet

  • You’re registering last-minute

Required:

  • Photocopy of ID

  • Passport-size photo

  • Mobile number

  • Haridwar (Rahi Hotel)

  • ISBT Rishikesh

  • Gurudwara Hemkund Sahib

  • Barkot (for Yamunotri)

  • Hina (for Gangotri)

  • Sonprayag (for Kedarnath)

You’ll get a physical slip or card with your QR code.
